Write the story as three beats
Describe an entrance, a change, and an exit in one sentence. For WONDER, a path enters, discovers an orbit and a doorway, then leaves a small trail. Three beats prevent six unrelated tricks.
Use letters as the setting
Counters can become rooms, diagonals can become paths, and terminals can become exits. Keep the visual action attached to real anatomy so the word carries the story instead of merely labeling an illustration.
Edit until the word wins
Remove accents one by one and keep only those that move the story forward. At thumbnail size the spelling must win; at full size the narrative becomes the second reward.
